BUDDY!!

On March 25, 2014 @ 7:31 I recieved a text from the family we had been talking to about the puppies saying that they had been born! We got the pick of the liter! We picked 1 of the 2 males and thought the brown one looked better than the black one.... after we chose which puppy we wanted we started getting more pictures, and updates on how he was doing, and such! Then we had to pick out a name! It's as bad as naming a kid!! We decided to call our puppy Buddy! It fits him perfectly!

We all love Buddy so much! He is the brother our girls may never have.... lol and little miss Kaylee has LOVED him from the beginning, and he has taken to Kaylee!!
Buddy is very cuddly, he knows when to play and when it's time to be lazy! He was really good at getting potty trained and kennel trained! We of course had accidents, but he has learned quickly. We are still working on him chewing things, but he is MUCH better than he was!!

Brooklyn just loves him too! She was so excited to show him off, and she is good at playing with him! She'll often taken him outside and play ball with him or just chase him around the yard! It's so cute to watch!

 Our Three Babies!
The first couple of weeks of being home, Buddy would snuggle to anything that was ours. I'd find him snuggling in my clothes!! He loves the girls! He is a lap dog! If you are sitting he has to be sitting on your lap if not right next to you! He is spoiled and sleeps in bed with Joey and I, and he is better now, but the first 3-4 weeks he would have to be touching one of us!
Kaylee and Buddy really have a great relationship!! She can lay on him, and torture him and he nips at her rarely, mostly he just takes it. Any chance he can get to snuggle her he will take, and at nights she always has to give "puppy kisses" and he follows me into her room, and stands up on her crib to give her the last goodnight! In the car, he is often on top of her, in her carseat. The girls know to tell him no if he nips at them, so sometimes you hear, "Puppy, no, no, no" But usually they just snuggle up and fall asleep!

He loves when the girls take baths! He is right on the edge and part of the action if not trying to get in with them! Now his own bath, he isn't the fan of but he does pretty well as long as I hurry fast!

Joey's parents dog Rex is Buddy's favorite!! He chases him everywhere.... you see the size difference?? He trys to keep up the best he can!!

At first I wasn't sure what we had gotten ourselves into! But we wouldn't trade him for the world! He is 95% of the time a really really good dog, he does have things we are working with him still but he is a puppy still! I just love how lazy he usually is! We love him so much and are so glad that we got him when we did and that he has fit sooo well with our family!!

I mean, How could you not love that face?
Welcome to the Family Buddy!!!
