WHAT A WEEK!

This week started off great, but has gotten progessively worse! Being pregnant has been a breeze and the most amazing thing ever!! That is until I got this awesome Headcold! Being pregnant and having a cold SUCKS! But I won't complain! It could be worse and I have been SOOOO Lucky!!! I have come to really appreciate modern medicine! It's like they say, you don't know what ya got till its gone... I guess i've always taken Medicines for granteed!!

This picture is what I would like people to be doing, giving me all sorts of drugs to make it so I can breathe and sleep and not feel so crapy! But I'll stick to the doctors orders of Mucinex and cough drops! I love my baby girl too much to put her growth and development at risk! I guess its just going to be a long week!! I just hope it passes as quickly as it came!

Heart Week

For Valentines day, Joey and I make it a week celebration, not just a day. Our heart week usually consits of 5 or so days of small gifts or nice things done for each other with a love letter attatched.  Valentines day is a great day, but I think sometimes people get greedy and worldly and don't really appreciate the holiday for what its worth. Our first year being married, I wanted to show Joey how extra special he is to me and so I got him a gift for each day leading up to Valentines day, and that is how our Heart week started. This year things were a little different. We are trying to be smarter with our money (especially with a baby coming) so this heart week was filled with Love letters gallor! Those love letters mean more than anything in the world! And I couldn't have asked for a better week! Of course the letters were hidden and were in some of the most random places, but coming across them just made my day and I couldn't keep a smile off my face! I enjoyed heart week so much I think its going to become a once a week or maybe even more ordeal! The simple written word from ones heart is so powerful! It beats Roses, fancy dinners, stuffed animals and chocolates!!! I really am truely grateful for Joey! The letters mean all the more because he doesn't have the easiest time writing his feeling on paper, so I charish these letters! And everytime I read them I am reasured that I AM the luckiest girl alive! I'm so glad that I met my Prince Charming 3 years ago! My life has truely become a fairytale and all my dreams have/are coming true! I still of course got spoiled on Valentines day even though I worked until 10! Beautiful Flowers on my desk at work and a delicious meal when I got home! I'm so glad I get to spend my forever after with the best man on the face of the earth! I Love You Joey Bernard! I can't wait to see what's on the next page of this fairytale!

Well I know that January is over but I just wanted to recap on things that happened...

• Joey started working at Sorensons
• Craft night with the girls
• We made some new friends
• Joey took up Ice Fishing (he has gone a couple of times already and LOVES it!)
• Went bowling with the Prettyman's
• Started to get heartburn- oh joy!
• Finally starting to show
• Got a new work schedule (now working Sunday thru Thursday from 1:30p-10p instead of 12:30p-9p)

Those are the highlights for January. We find out tomorrow if we're having a Girl or a Boy! We are super excited!! So we will keep you posted.  I personally think that it is a boy, but I guess we'll find out tomorrow! We are also going to look at an apartment! So keep your fingers crossed! :) So far February has started out great for us! Hope you had a great January and are enjoying February!
