Brooklyn's Blessing Day

Brooklyn was blessed on August 14, 2011. In the Huntington 5th ward. It was a beautiful day! Joey's family was there and some of my family came. I wish we would have got a picture of all of us, but i'm not sure what happened, everyone I guess was excited to go eat food! (I know I was) :) My sister took better pictures so when I get those I'll post them.
Joey gave a beautiful blessing and Brooklyn was such a good baby!! Thanks Mom and Jenna for coming down the night before and helping me get all the food ready! Also a big thanks to my dad who drove up from Las Vegas way early that morning to be there!! Another thanks to Lanae, Ryan and kids who also had to leave pretty early for the 2 1/2 hour drive! Thanks for taking the time out of your busy lives to spend the day with us! We appreciate your love and support!! Thanks also to Joey's mom and dad for letting us all go to their house after! and to Justin and Alyssa, Mel and Bry, Ashlie and Chris and all your kids for your love and support and for spending this special day with us! We love you all!

2 Months

2 MONTHS OLD
STATS
Weight: 12 lbs 8 ounces
Length: 24 1/2 Inches

Well time keeps flying by and here I am again posting about 2 months when she will be turning 3 months shortly!! Brooklyn is such a happy baby! At her two month appointment she got her shots. We have heard horor stories about kids getting shots and screaming and being fussy for days after. Well of course she cried, but there was no screaming at all! between the first and second shot, she stopped crying completely, and then whimppered between the second and third. She is such a strong baby! She cried harder when I got her dressed when it was time to go. But by the time we left the doctors she was fast asleep.
She has found her voice lately and just babbles all day long! It's so dang cute! She loves to kick and play with her toys. She loves the movie cars because of all the sound and bright colors! She has beautiful blue eyes (just like daddy) and she tries to mimic everything that Joey and I do. She is such a joy, and we are enjoying these days so much!

Geocaching

A Couple of weeks ago we went out Geocaching! Geocaching is a treasure hunt using a GPS to find/hide containers full of odds and ends, sometimes cash, sometimes random other things! We found four geocaches this trip and we will be going back for more before the weather turns bad! This was my first time going, and it was a lot of fun! Most of the places we went to find the geocaches were by pictographs and petroglyphs.
Brooklyn came along and was such a good little girl, she loves going on drives in the car! Usually I am pretty good about remember extra outfits just in case something happens, well on this trip, I totally forgot, and she blew out her diaper, Luckily I had taken her pants off, so she just wore her pants and a blanket the rest of the trip!
We ended the day by roasting hot dogs and Marshmellows!! It was a great time!

Boondocks

For The 24th of July we went to Kaysville to visit my family, We saw some friends that it had been a really long time since we have seen them and it was good to catch up and introduce them to little Brookie! We also ventured to Boondocks in Kaysville with my parents for some late night bowling and some arcade games!! It was a lot of fun! My Mom beat us all at bowling!! Which she was very proud of! It was a good time and we'll have to do it again soon!
We got a package deal with bowling for some arcade games and one of which we chose to play was this car racing one. I don't remember the last time I saw my mom and dad play an arcade game so I had to document it!
It was fun hanging out with my mom and dad!

Change is A Good Thing!

Well I was in need of a change and my hair was driving me crazy!! So i decided to cut it. At first I was in shock, but now I love it!!! I cut 9 inches off and it feels so much better and healthier. The nice thing about this change is that it'll grow back!! (Blogger is being retarded at loading pictures, so sorry they are in a weird order!)
