Nate's Sleep Over

Our nephew Nathan had spring break the last week in March. All he wanted to do was go fishing with Joey. So my sister called me up and we made arrangements for him to come spend a couple of days with us. He got to sleep over in the front room. We let him stay up as late as he wantes, watch whatever show he wanted and eat pretty much whatever he wanted. Lol He thought it was soooo cool! Brookie LOVED having him around. She likes when new people comes she always gets super excited!! Here they are watching cars together!

The first day he was here we went to the store and got some treats for them to take with them on their adventure! They went out to the Desert cause it was too cold to go fishing and Nate had never been there before. They saw Pictographs and Petroglyphs. The dinosar foot print and some other cool things! They only had Nate's camera that day so I'll have to get pictures from him. :)

That night we popped popcorn in the popcorn machine and watched the incredibles and he stayed up until 2. He wanted to stay up later, but I still had to work the next day so I told him 2 was my max! :) After a night of sleep and a bit of sleeping in I got Nate and Brooklyn up and ready to go fishing! I went to work and they were off! Unfortunately it was really windy and the fish weren't biting. So the next day we were going to met up with my sister to send Nate back for the rest of the week with his family, but since the fishing was bad, he stayed another day so they could go to a local pond that they heard was good. so day 3 they went fishing again and caught some fish!

Nate was pretty excited they finally caught some fish!! It ended up being a pretty good little vacation for him! It was fun to have him. On Friday we took him back up north and met his mom and dad at cabelas. well somewhere during the week i got a bit of the flu. I ended up passing out in line at cabelas and throwing up. it was pretty scary for a minute. But after two days off of work I was finally feeling better! We will definately have to have Nate back sometime in the summer and go to the pool and on some more adventures! :)

She's Crawling!

Oh goodness! This month is turning into quiet the month of accomplishments for our little Brooklyn! She is now big girl crawling!! I've yet to capture her on the camera but she is soo cute crusing all over the place!! Keeping us on our toes! She is now getting into everything! But we are so proud of her! She is a smart little cookie! Just growing up right before our eyes! Soon she will be walking! YIKES!!! oh and on that note she goes a head and pulls herself up to get the computer. Goodness! She will seriously be walking before we know it! I'll have to get some pictures of her standing up by herself! :)

1st Tooth!

What a rough couple of days we have had! Brookie is getting teeth! To be honest her first tooth Just popped right up and we had no idea she was even teething. But this 2nd tooth is taking a toll on the little girl! Poor thing! The discovery of her first tooth Happened while she was drinking out of a glass cup and I could here her like grinding her tooth on the glass so I felt around and there it was a tooth! I was so proud I kept saying She has a tooth! She has a tooth!!

Her 2nd tooth is taking it's time coming in and it is causing her lots of pain! She has a runny nose, a fever and has been waking up in the middle of the night crying! She has spent many nights just in her diaper cause she gets so hot! She loves it though! She loves just being in her diaper!! Here's to hoping tooth number 2 will pop up soon!! :) I've been trying to get pictures of just her 1st one, but she won't have it so i'll try harder when tooth 2 pops through :)

Not again!

Well at the end of February we got our car back after the deer ran into the side of it (I didn't have any pictures.) about a week and a half later someone backed into our car... the same side, the same door just a lot worse then the deer... so back to the auto body shop the Mazda went ........

Needless to say we are glad to have our car back and fixed and we are hoping to avoid taking this car back into the shop for any reason!

9 Months Old

Time just keeps flying! Brookie Sue is 9 months old. 9 months old is going to be a big month for Brookie!! She is just growing so fast! We got the jogging stroller fixed and she loves being in it! (although it has been too cold to go out)

She loves Ice cream still and really doesn't want much to do with baby food anymore. She figured out where the pots and pans are and loves to play in all the drawers! as you can see in the 9 month picture (the best one I have) she doesn't really like her bows anymore and her personalitly is most definately shinning through!! If she doesn't want it or like it she'll let you know! We sure do love you booga and it's been so fun to watch you grow!! Can't wait for what comes next!
