Brookie's 3rd Birthday!!

This pretty little lady is now 3! She is super smart, funny, independant and caring. She is big into music, dancing, and singing. Her favorite song is 'Roar' by Katy Perry. She sings and dances to it ALL THE TIME!! It's her go to Jam! Her favorite thing to do it color and play outside! There is always a box of crayons on our table and a coloring book or something she can draw on. She is Tall! most of her shirts are 4T's and they fit her great!

This year Brooklyn will be going to preschool! She has had a hard time talking, so she has been in a speech program and will go to preschool were they will focus lots on her speech. She has come a long way, but it's still hard to understand  her. She is very smart, and catches on quickly to things. She learned a few words in sign language this year! She is excited to ride the school bus home from preschool!

She loves making funny faces in pictures!! She loves riding bikes, her scooter, playing dress up at daycare and playing with Buddy and Kaylee! She is such a sweetheart! We love having her around! She is such a delight and we simply can't imagine life without our Brooklyn!! Here is a crap load of pictures!! Just seemed like the best way to really show you who she is!! LOVE YOU BROOKE!!!

We were going to go to the zoo the day of her birthday but she woke up sick in the night and threw up a couple times, so we decided to keep close to home just in case. We ended up getting her cake and wandering around walmart! She would just randomly pick things out and put them on our carry them around with her! The picture below shows about how she ended up!

Our Garden

We weren't sure if we were going to get our garden in on time or not this year... It took A LOT of work!! The area the garden is used to be weeds and grass... we had to clear the whole area out, build the boxes, fill it with the soil, buy the plant, plant them, and it has been worth it!! It was a rush there for a bit, but the garden has really taken off !! In the morning the girls and I usually go out and weed it, and at nights the girls and Joey water it!!

So far it has given us lots of veggies!! We all love it!!  This is just the start. When things were just barely starting to grow! 

Kaylee loves everything about the dirt in the yard... especially to eat it! Crazy girl!!

 We will be canning beans! Brooklyn was helping me snap the ends! She is such a big helper and loves doing anything with the garden!! She has a green thumb like her Daddy!

 Oh yeah... Kaylee loves the watering part!! But more so just playing in the water!

One thing we look forward to every year is the garden, the years we haven't been able to have one have been horrible!! The fresh Veggies are delicious! We can't get enough in our house!! So glad we will have one for many years to come!! and it's a really good one too!! Nothing better than Summer nights working in the garden!! Fun times that's for sure!! Joey does such a great job watering and working on it! I just weed (every now and again) He definitely has the green thumb of the family!! We all appreciate his hard work at it!!! Glad he is passing that love onto at least 1 of our kids! HAHA!
