Locked Out

Well we are having the worse luck ever lately. Since our car was in the shop somehow both of our apartment keys ended up on the ring of the keys that are at the shop... I was at work and Joey came to get me and well we got locked our of our apartment... Joey tried for 2 hours to get in. No luck! it was midnight so we drove over to his parents house and spent the night there. We called our landlord the next morning and he wasn't able to get us in until noon the next day. It was quiet the adventure. One we will definately try to avoid in the future!

Trip to Kaysville

It's been a while since we made it up to see my parents. So we made the trek up there and had a pretty good time! On our way going up there we stopped in Lehi and the new Buffalo Wild Wings! Joey was so excited to stop there! We haven't been to a Buffalo Wild Wings since we lived in New York! They have the best wings so it was definately a Treat.... might be a new pit stop for us on our way up always! :) lol Here are some pictures from our trip (not many but some is better than none)

 After we got to my parents house it was time for Brookie to show off some of her tricks She just started playing her little piano like this! She is so funny!

We had a good time with family after not seeing them for so long! It's always good to catch up and for them to spend time with Brooklyn! We had a good time with each other eating out and driving up! It's also an adventure!

Business Anyone?!

Joey's brothers, Bryan and Chris started a custom emboridery business last June called UBU Gear. In January they asked Joey if he would be the sales guy for them. He said yes and has been working with them on top of everything else since then! He is really enjoying it. It's something new that he is learning lots about and it's fun to see all the awesome designs they have made for people! When I have more time I'll post some of the pictures! So far they have created stuff for Carbon baseball and softball (recreation), Neilson Contruction, some Farm Bureau agents, Game Hub, and Faxon Entertainment. They are working on landing a bunch more accounts and expanding the business! It's fun watching them work together and to see the growth they have had already! So if you need anything emboridered they are the guys to go to! They have good prices and they do a great job! Valentines Day 2012

Valentines day this year started off with cards from my parents! They sent one to Brooklyn and she loved it! She played with it for a couple of hours! Trying to pet the Cat on the front of the card! Too Cute!

 Joey surpirsed me with some flowers at work! They are beautiful and my favorite! Gerber Daisies! Thanks babe for the flowers and the wonderful notes! You make me feel so special and like the luckiest girl alive! I sure do love you!

I posted notes all around the house for Joey and got him some new X box games! It was a low key day, but we are going up to my parents this weekend so we will make up for it then! :) Happy Valentines Day! 

Dang Deer

We got hit by a deer. Yes, the dumb thing ran right into the side of our car. It could have been a lot worse as there were three big bodied bucks ahead of us that we luckily missed and we were at a complete stop when the doe ran into the drivers side. I didn't think about it at the time but I didn't take any pictures of the damage. The driver door was smashed in right under the door handle and the back side door was dented in pretty good! We just had to pay our deductable and the insurance covered the rest. So our car is good as new again! Watch out for those deer, some are suicidal!

8 Months Old

8 Months Old!

Brooklyn is 8 months old now! I can hardly believe it! Watching her develop and learn all the new things she has is absolutely amazing! She has started to army crawl! and she is getting pretty good at it. Joey calls her our little jabber walkie. She just jabbers away all day long! She waves hi and bye, and she has started to give kisses! It's seriouslyl the cutest thing ever! She loves books, music, and is still in love with cars! She will eat pratically anything that is put in front of her! (except peaches she isn't the biggest fan of those)

 She is such a doll! So well mannered and she is so happy all the time! (except when you wake her up in the morning before she wants to get up! Takes after her dad!)

 She takes after me in the sense that if the flash is on my eyes are going to be closed! I just love this picture! She looks so big in it!

She loves her daddy! Snuggling with him on Saturdays is one of her favorite things! She always wakes up sooo happy afterwards! They both look so cute together! They certainly have a special bond and I know they will for forever! Brooklyn is super smart, and learns something new everyday! she is a joy in our lives and it most definately wouldn't be the same with out her! We love you Brooklyn!
